PASKENTA NOMLAKI FOUNDATION SHARES HOLIDAY CHEER WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS DURING SEASON OF GIVING

The Tribe donated $25,000 to four local organizations to support children and seniors

Corning, Calif. – (December 17, 2024) – This holiday season, the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians, through the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation, remains committed to supporting the community by donating $25,000 to four local organizations. This year, the foundation made generous donations to organizations that provide toys for local children and holiday gifts for local seniors, including the Corning Fire Department, Northern California Child Development, Red Bluff Chamber of Commerce, and Red Bluff Toys for Tots.

“We are proud to partner with these incredible organizations that work tirelessly to positively impact our community,” said Tribal Chairman Brandin Paya. “The holiday season is a time for giving back and supporting those who need it most. We hope these donations will help bring comfort and joy to the underserved children and the elderly in our community during this special time of year.”

On Thursday, December 12, the Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation presented the Northern California Child Development CHIPS 4 Kids program, the Corning Fire Department annual Toy Haul program, and the Red Bluff Toys for Tots, each with a $5,000 check donation at the Paskenta Tribal Office. The proceeds will go toward buying new toys distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community to bring them Christmas cheer during the holidays.

This year, the Foundation also supported the 5th Annual Christmas Joy Arrangements by providing a $10,000 donation. In partnership with the Red Bluff – Tehama County Chamber of Commerce and the Tehama Floral Co., the Tribal Chairman delivered special floral arrangements to over 550 elderly residents at health and senior care facilities in Corning, CA, on Monday, December 16.

The Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation has a long-standing history of supporting local organizations and initiatives that address critical community needs. This year’s holiday giving reflects the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to strengthening the Tehama County community and improving the lives of its residents.
